Position Summary: Fort Worth Facial and Oral Associates is a well-established oral and maxillofacial surgery practice in Arlington, Texas, committed to delivering exceptional, patient-centered care. We're seeking a dedicated, detail-oriented Surgical Assistant to support our oral surgeons, ensuring an efficient workflow and exceptional patient care throughout the surgical process. The ideal candidate is passionate about patient comfort and safety, with strong technical skills and a collaborative spirit

Requirements

We are seeking candidates with the following qualifications:

• Current RDA license
• Valid California X-ray license
• Current BLS certification
• Takes pride in attention to detail
• Punctual and reliable on a daily basis
• Friendly and outgoing personality, with both patients and fellow staff
• Ability to commute and work in both Napa and Sonoma locations
• Minimum of 1 year dental assisting experience

Qualifications not necessary but a plus:

• Previous oral surgery experience
• OMSA certificate
• Dental Anesthesia Assistant Permit (through Dental Board of CA)
• Emergency procedures - identification and treatment
• Familiar with dental/oral surgery software - DSN preferred
• Computer savvy, able to type 35 wpm
• Ability to read, speak, and write Spanish fluently and clearly

Responsibilities include, but not limited to:
