Job summary

MyStethi, LLC seeks an Inpatient Advanced Practice Provider to join our inpatient/urgent care team. You will function as a practitioner, mentor, consultant, educator, researcher and manager to support patient care, staff development and organizational goals.

Your responsibilities include patient assessment, orders, rounds, education, and collaboration with physicians and nurses to ensure high-quality, safe care across neonatal to geriatric populations.

Qualifications

• Graduate program completed in advanced practice nursing.
• License as NM Advanced Practice Nurse (CNP, CNS, CRNA) or equivalent.
• Prescriptive Authority from the State of New Mexico.

Responsibilities

• Assess, diagnose and develop treatment plans within scope of practice protocols.
• Perform patient history and examinations for procedures or admissions.
• Complete admitting orders, rounds, and discharge summaries with team.
• Perform invasive and non-invasive diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests and explain prep and effects.
• Revise treatment plans with patient and family to improve health outcomes.
• Provide patient education on preventative care and medications.
• Document care accurately in medical records and communicate with the team.
• Collaborate with medical, nursing, and counseling staff to ensure continuity of care.
• Educate, mentor, and support nursing and medical staff; precept students.
• Model professional conduct and ethical decision-making; promote safety and quality.
• Support research and apply findings to clinical practice.
• Engage in ongoing professional development through education and workshops.
