RWJBarnabas Health is seeking a per diem Advanced Practice Provider (APN/PA) to provide perioperative and postoperative care in the Barnabas Health Medical Group, JCMC department. Responsibilities include surgical first assisting, perioperative management, inpatient rounds, and ED consultations as needed.

Applicants must hold APN or PA certification, with CDS, DEA, and BLS/ACLS, plus NJ RN license for APN. Two shifts per month and day shifts are offered; opportunity for autonomous practice

Qualifikationen

• Current APN Certification or Current Physician Assistant Certification.
• RN NJ State license is required.
• Corp/DEA and CDS are required.
• BLS/ACLS certification required.

Aufgaben

• Perform history and physical examinations for pre- and post-operative patients.
• Coordinate perioperative care with surgical team and attending physicians.
• Assist in the operating room as surgical first assistant.
• Conduct inpatient rounds and ED consultations when needed.
• Discharge planning in collaboration with the attending physician.
• Communicate clearly with care team and patients; ensure patient safety and quality care.
