Orlando Health, Inc. in Orlando, FL seeks an experienced Nurse Practitioner to collaborate with physicians for inpatient management and co-management of surgical patients. You will provide consults, perform procedures, and participate in rounds within a collaborative care model.

The role requires an ARNP in Florida with national certification, BLS, and 5 years of NP experience (2 in a specialty). ACLS/NRP/PALS may be required in certain areas.

Competenze

• MN or MSN or DNP or PhD in nursing required.
• ARNP license in Florida with national certification attained.
• Current BLS certification is required.
• ACLS, NRP, PALS may be required for certain areas.
• Five years NP experience, including two in a specialty.

Mansioni

• Provide inpatient management and co-management of surgical patients with minimal supervision.
• Assess physical and psychosocial status; diagnose and plan treatment with the team.
• Surgically close wounds and assist in procedures as credentialed.
• Scrub with collaborating surgeon in the operating room.
• Perform complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures.
• Prescribe medications and order tests as needed.
• Contribute to rounds, education, and quality initiatives.
• Document accurately and promptly; participate in research activities.
