The role requires Florida APRN license (or PA licensure) with national certification, BLS, and a minimum of three years of AP practice experience

Qualifications

• MN/MSN/DNP/PhD/DNS nursing degree required.
• Graduate of accredited physician assistant program required.
• APRN license in Florida and national advanced certification required; BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Acts as an advanced resource for the specialty area or lead worker in clinic setting.
• Performs complex diagnostic and therapeutic procedures and prescribes necessary treatments.
• Operates with high independence in patient care with minimal physician supervision.
• Assists in teaching students, residents and interns in complex techniques.
• Uses advanced clinical knowledge to assess, plan, implement and evaluate nursing care across the continuum.
• Maintains timely patient documentation in the medical record.
