Orlando Health is seeking an Advanced Practice Provider (Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant) for inpatient care at Florida Medical Center. Role includes diagnosis, treatment, and consultations within a shift pool/Per-diem setting, with Florida APRN/PA licensure required and active BLS.

Qualifications

• MN or MSN or DNP or PhD or DNS degree in nursing.
• Graduate of accredited physician assistant program.
• APRN license in the state of Florida.
• National advanced certification from an approved nursing specialty board.
• Maintains current BLS certification.
• Maintain current physician assistant licensure in State of Florida.

Responsibilities

• Assesses the physical and psychosocial status of patients and develops treatment plans.
• Implements management based on laboratory results and clinical assessment.
• Initiates actions to facilitate therapeutic plans for ongoing patient needs.
• Participates in daily multidisciplinary rounds and documents inpatient H&P and discharge summaries.
• Collaborates with other healthcare disciplines to ensure continuity and quality of care.
• Maintains compliance with Orlando Health policies and procedures.
