• Experience in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery is essential.
• Fellowship training in Cardiothoracic Surgery is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform all aspects of Adult Cardiac Surgery including CABG and TAVR.
• Manage in-patients and perform thoracic procedures.

Job description

Seeking BC/BE Cardiothoracic Surgeon

Join an established team of physicians at our hospital as we expand our Cardiovascular Service Line. We are looking to add a 5th Cardiothoracic Surgeon, including current and recent Fellows.

Ideal Candidate

• Experience and interest in adult cardiac and thoracic surgery
• Minimally invasive robotic techniques
• Knowledge of work on the arch; vascular services, TAVR, and/or Endovascular skills are a plus

Scope of Practice

Includes all aspects of Adult Cardiac Surgery such as On and Off-Pump CABG, Mitral Repair, TAVR, arrhythmia surgery, and aortic surgery (endovascular and open). Thoracic procedures include minimally invasive lung resections, transhiatal esophagectomy, and complex anti-reflux surgeries.

Schedule & Practice Details

• Practice, ER, and Hospital Call: 1:4
• Hours: M-F, 8-5
• Schedule: 1 day/week in clinic, 4 days in OR, managing in-patients
