Job summary

Northwest Specialty Hospital is seeking a compassionate Surgery Scheduler to join our Inland Shoulder Team at the new Spokane, WA Clinic. You will schedule surgical cases, manage communications, and support medical records to ensure accurate documentation and high service levels.

Under the Practice Manager, you will use manual and automated systems, work under pressure with patience, and contribute to a patient‑centered team dedicated to quality care and growth within our hospital.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• Ability to relate and work effectively with others.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills.
• Willingness to participate in goal-setting and educational activities for own growth and advancement.
• Awareness of operating room environment and surgical scheduling.
• Previous scheduling experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical cases accurately using manual and automated systems.
• Facilitate telephone messages and patient communications while maintaining high service levels.
• Assist in medical records management to support accurate documentation.
• Maintain and file scheduling records and processing of patient documents.
• Use automated systems to support scheduling functions and adapt to busy environments.
