Job summary

Urologic Specialists of Oklahoma is seeking a reliable Surgery Scheduler to join our clinical team in Tulsa. The role coordinates surgical procedures, communicates with patients and providers, and ensures all pre-operative requirements are completed accurately and efficiently.

The ideal candidate will have at least 1 year of surgery scheduling and medical office experience, strong organizational skills, and proficiency with EMR systems. Part-time position with a 2-day workweek.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Minimum one (1) year of surgery scheduling experience.
• Minimum one (1) year of medical office or clinic experience.
• Experience working with EMR systems.

Responsibilities

• Greet patients professionally and maintain courtesy.
• Coordinate and schedule surgeries with patients, physicians, hospitals, and centers.
• Inform patients of surgery dates, times, locations, and pre-op instructions.
• Monitor and track surgical clearances and documentation.
• Manage patient portal messages with timely responses.
• Collaborate with staff to ensure seamless surgical preparation.
