Job summary

Providence Holy Cross Surgery Center at Mission Hills is seeking a Surgery Scheduler to manage the daily surgery schedule and coordinating with doctors' offices and OR staff. The role emphasizes leadership, communication, and customer service to resolve scheduling conflicts.

Typical schedule is Monday–Friday with no on-call, nights, weekends, or holiday hours. Starting wages are $25–$31 per hour, depending on experience, with benefits including health, dental, vision, 401(k) and PTO.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2+ years hospital or medical office experience required.
• Surgery scheduling experience preferred.
• Must demonstrate excellent phone etiquette and exceptional customer service skills.
• Must be able to communicate verbally and non-verbally in a professional way.
• Ability to use time wisely in preparing work area to meet fast-paced demand.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily maintenance of the surgery schedule and all aspects of scheduling process.
• Coordinate with doctors' offices and operating room staff to resolve scheduling conflicts.
• Demonstrate leadership, communication and customer service skills to support scheduling processes.
