Responsibilities

• Coordinate clinic and surgery schedules to avoid conflicts.
• Maintain HIPAA, compliance, and patient-safety regulations.
• Coordinate surgery schedule with internal and external operating rooms.
• Submit surgical clearances for scheduling into the OR.
• Submit information to pre-certification to ensure insurance coverage.
• Act as liaison between families and clinical staff for education, authorizations and post-op appointments.
• Schedule outpatient and inpatient surgery, procedures, and testing.
• Collaborate with internal and external partners.
• Ensure regular attendance and maintain good communication and documentation.
