Job summary

OAA Orthopaedic Specialists Westgate is seeking a Surgery Scheduler and Satellite Office Coordinator to manage surgical and diagnostic scheduling from pre-op through completion. You will coordinate pre-admission testing, authorizations, and patient education, while ensuring timely documentation in the EMR and smooth front-office operations.

The role requires medical office experience, strong organization, and bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Previous medical office experience in scheduling or front desk preferred.
• Ability to handle multiple priorities with accuracy and discretion.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical and diagnostic services by phone or in person and provide patients with instructions.
• Coordinate pre-admission testing, medical clearances, and related appointments.
• Obtain and process referrals and payer authorizations for surgeries and related services.
• Ensure documentation, results, and authorizations are complete and delivered timely in the EMR.
• Greet patients, verify demographics and insurance, and assist with check-in/check-out duties.
• Provide cross-functional administrative support across satellite offices as needed.
