OAA Orthopaedic Specialists is seeking a Surgery Scheduler and Satellite Office Coordinator in Westgate, PA. The role coordinates surgical and diagnostic scheduling from start to finish and provides front-office and administrative support across multiple sites to ensure a seamless patient experience.

You will handle referrals, authorizations, and pre-operative steps while maintaining accurate records and timely communications with patients, providers, and facilities.

Competenze

• High school diploma or GED.
• Medical office experience with surgical/procedural scheduling.
• Working knowledge of medical terminology, EMR, payer portals, and standard office tech.
• Customer service experience and professional telephone etiquette.
• Strong organization and communication skills; ability to manage multiple priorities.

Mansioni

• Schedule surgical and diagnostic services by phone or in person with patient prep instructions.
• Coordinate pre-admission testing, medical clearances, and related appointments with facilities and practices.
• Obtain referrals and payer authorizations for surgeries and tests.
• Ensure documentation and paperwork are completed and delivered on time.
• Document scheduling activity and communications in the EMR and systems.
