Next Generation Orthopedic and Spine Institute in Spring, TX is seeking a detail-oriented Surgery Scheduler & Pre-Authorization Specialist to join our team. This role coordinates surgical procedures, secures authorizations, and ensures accurate benefits verification.

You will communicate with patients and providers, maintain EMR scheduling records, and support surgeons, billing, and clinical staff in a fast-paced orthopedic environment.

Qualifications

• 1-2 years minimum experience in surgical scheduling and/or insurance prior authorizations.
• Strong knowledge of orthopedic/spine procedures and terminology preferred.
• Experience with major insurance carriers and authorization portals.
• Proficiency with EMR/EHR systems and medical scheduling software.
• Exceptional organizational skills with high attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills for patient/provider interactions.
• Ability to multitask and prioritize in a high-volume clinical environment.
