Job summary

Trinity Health IHA Medical Group is seeking a patient-focused Surgery Scheduler to join our team. You will schedule surgical procedures and pre-op appointments, obtain authorizations, and support providers with scheduling and patient communications.

• Obtain insurance authorizations and manage consent forms.
• Schedule, confirm, and reschedule patient appointments.
• Maintain provider schedule templates and inputs.
• Collect payments and support billing processes.
• Gathers data and analyzes scheduling efficiency.

Responsibilities

• Schedule surgical procedures, testing, and pre-op appointments.

• Oversee provider schedule templates and inputs.
• Collect payments and support accurate billing.
• Assist with patient communications and MyChart support.
• Maintain patient records and day-to-day office operations.
• Gathers data and analyzes scheduling efficiencies.
