Job summary

Pinnacle Fertility is seeking a Surgery RN in Seattle, WA to support patients through their fertility journey in the surgical suite. You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care while maintaining the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

This full-time, onsite role features 8.5-hour shifts (6:30 AM – 4:30 PM) with comprehensive healthcare, PTO, holidays, and retirement benefits.

Qualifications

  • Active RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing
  • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications or willingness to obtain
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR

  • Prepare patients for procedures and perform preoperative assessments
  • Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases
  • Accurately document patient care in the EMR
  • Oversee surgical suite operations and ensure sterility and equipment functionality

As a Surgery RN,you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

We are seeking a Surgery RN to join our dedicated team atPinnacle Fertility - Washington, located inSeattle, WA. This is a full-time, onsite position, working flexible 8.5 hours shifts between 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM.

Key Responsibilities
  • Prepare patients for procedures, perform preoperative assessment, give discharge instructions, and start IV.
  • Recover patients after general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care. Reinforce discharge instructions.
  • Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the surgical suite.
  • Accurately document patient care and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR).
  • Clearly communicate post-operative instructions to patients and families.
  • Oversee surgical suite operations, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and equipment functionality.
  • Adhere to and enforce aseptic techniques, quality control measures, and safety standards.
  • Initiate emergency protocols as needed and coordinate equipment repairs.
  • Mentor new staff and provide updates on any protocol changes.
  • Support organizational policies and contribute to process improvements.
  • Collaborate with the Surgery Manager to assess equipment and supply needs.
  • Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the surgical team.
  • Perform other duties and projects as assigned.
Position Requirements
  • Education & Licensure:
  • Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
  • Active RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
  • Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications required, or willingness to obtain.
  • Experience:
  • Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, surgical experience a plus.
  • Skills:
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Hourly Rate: $30.00 - $65.00(Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications)
