Pinnacle Fertility, Inc. is seeking a PRN Surgery RN to provide exceptional perioperative care in Seattle, WA.

This per diem, onsite role offers flexible 8-hour shifts between 6:30 AM and 4:30 PM, with opportunities to support patients through pre-, intra-, and post-operative care. Ideal candidates will have an accredited nursing program (ADN or BSN), WA RN licensure, and BLS/ACLS certifications, with 2–3 years of circulating nurse experience in the OR.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare patients for procedures and perform preoperative assessments.
• Recover patients after anesthesia and reinforce discharge instructions.
• Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the surgical suite.
• Document patient care and procedures in the EMR.
• Communicate post-operative instructions to patients and families.
• Oversee surgical suite operations, ensuring sterility and equipment functionality.
• Adhere to aseptic techniques and safety standards.
• Initiate emergency protocols and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Mentor new staff and update on protocol changes.
• Collaborate with Surgery Manager on equipment and supply needs.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the team.

About the Role

The PRN Surgery RN plays a vital role in supporting patients through their fertility journey by delivering exceptional care in the surgical suite. This position is ideal for compassionate, detail-oriented individuals who excel in fast-paced environments and want to make a meaningful difference. As a PRN Surgery RN, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide pre-, intra-, and post-operative care while ensuring the highest standards of patient safety and comfort.

We are seeking a PRN Surgery RN to join our dedicated team at Pinnacle Fertility - Washington, located in Seattle, WA. This is a per diem, onsite position, working flexible 8 hours shifts between 6:30 AM - 4:30 PM. Candidates must be comfortable with a flexible, as-needed schedule based on patient and surgical volume.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for procedures, perform preoperative assessment, give discharge instructions, and start IV.
• Recover patients after general anesthesia and monitored anesthesia care. Reinforce discharge instructions.
• Deliver direct patient care during pre-, intra-, and post-operative phases in the surgical suite.
• Accurately document patient care and procedures in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Clearly communicate post-operative instructions to patients and families.
• Oversee surgical suite operations, ensuring cleanliness, sterility, and equipment functionality.
• Adhere to and enforce aseptic techniques, quality control measures, and safety standards.
• Initiate emergency protocols as needed and coordinate equipment repairs.
• Mentor new staff and provide updates on any protocol changes.
• Support organizational policies and contribute to process improvements.
• Collaborate with the Surgery Manager to assess equipment and supply needs.
• Monitor patient conditions and communicate changes to the surgical team.
• Perform other duties and projects as assigned.

Position Requirements

• Education & Licensure:
• Completion of an accredited nursing program (Associate’s Degree in Nursing or Bachelor of Science in Nursing).
• Active RN license issued by the Washington State Board of Nursing.
• Maintain current BLS and ACLS certifications required, or willingness to obtain.
• Experience:
• Minimum of 2-3 years' experience as a Circulating Nurse in the OR, surgical experience a plus.
• Skills:
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work in a diverse and fast-paced environment.
• Physical ability to lift up to 40 pounds.
• Hourly Rate: $38.00-$65.00 per hour (Final offers based on experience, skills, and qualifications).
