Job summary

Oklahoma Surgical Hospital in Tulsa is seeking a full-time Surgery Registered Nurse (RN) for a 6:30am–5pm shift with a rotating day off. The role centers on delivering personalized, evidence-based nursing care in a safety-sensitive environment.

The RN will lead non-licensed staff, coordinate care, and participate in continuous improvement of clinical outcomes. Full benefits and quarterly bonuses are offered, with a $10,000 sign-on bonus per guidelines.

As a full-time Surgery RN, your schedule will be 6:30am - 5pm, Monday - Friday, with a rotating day off, i.e. Wednesday off this week, Thursday off the next week, and then Friday and Monday off together, making that a 4-day weekend every 4 weeks. There is minimal call required. Surgery is always closed on holidays and weekends, but there will always be someone on call. This position comes with our full benefits package and is eligible for our rewarding discretionary quarterly bonuses!

The registered nurse holds a safety sensitive position and delivers personalized comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of self, innovative technology and collaboration among patients, families and health care professionals. Responsible and accountable for providing leadership to non-licensed staff as demonstrated by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical-surgical nursing care for optimum patient outcomes.

• What’s required of you? Current Oklahoma or multi-state RN license. Current BLS. Completion of ACLS certification within 60 days of hire. ACLS classes are offered at OSH after hire date.


• Do I need experience? No experience required!


• Specialty Knowledge Skills: Must be knowledgeable and demonstrate competency in current nursing practices that are unit/age specific.
