As an ECB Surgery RN, you will work as needed during the day throughout the week, Monday - Friday. ECB employees must work a minimum of 24 hours a month, but more are available if candidate desires more. In the beginning, this position will need to work part‑time/full‑time hours weekly until oriented. Previous OR experience preferred. The surgery department keeps a calendar at the desk that you can let them know what days you can work one month in advance. They may also call if they are short on nurses one day to see if you’re available.
The registered nurse holds a safety‑sensitive position and delivers personalized comprehensive care to patients through the nursing process, combining therapeutic use of self, innovative technology and collaboration among patients, families and health care professionals. Responsible and accountable for providing leadership to non‑licensed staff as demonstrated by prescribing, delegating, and coordinating medical‑surgical nursing care for optimum patient outcomes.
Do I need experience?
