Requirements include 1–2 years in a medical office, familiarity with Epic EMR, and strong communication. Bilingual EN/SP is a plus; flexible schedule may be required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years in a medical office or clinic setting preferred.
• Experience with insurance verification, scheduling, and patient communication preferred.
• Familiarity with Epic EMR is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Referral Management: handle inbound/outbound referrals and necessary documentation.
• Scheduling & Follow-Up: schedule, cancel, or reschedule referrals and track status.
• Insurance Verification & Prior Authorizations: verify eligibility and obtain authorizations as needed.
• EMR Management: document activities and scan records in the EMR.
• Patient Communication: inform patients of referral status and steps.
