HCA Healthcare seeks an experienced Nurse Manager of Surgery in the OR at Methodist Hospital Northeast. The role leads staffing, clinical operations, and quality initiatives to deliver safe, high-quality patient care in a dynamic hospital setting.

The position requires a nursing degree, Texas RN licensure, and hands-on management experience to oversee 24/7 unit operations and ensure alignment with hospital standards and patient care goals.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diploma, associates, or baccalaureate degree nursing program.
• Current license to practice professional registered nursing in Texas.

Responsibilities

• Build and lead a high-functioning unit team aligned with hospital goals.
• Oversee staffing, interviewing, orientation, and staff development.
• Plan and direct patient care on a 24-hour basis per internal/external standards.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and care paths that support service delivery.
• Direct processes to assess, improve and maintain the quality of patient care.
• Collaborate with administrators, physicians, staff and customers to meet expectations.
