Job summary

HCA Healthcare’s Mission Hospital in Asheville, North Carolina is seeking a Nurse Manager of Surgical Services to lead a large, fast-paced OR program and advance safe, high-quality patient care.

You will co-manage with a colleague for 40 operating rooms and about 145 full-time equivalents, overseeing daily operations, staffing, resource allocation, and integration of evidence-based practice with regulatory and professional standards.

Qualifications

• BSN or equivalent degree required.
• Current RN licensure in NC; eNLC may apply.
• National certification within 1 year.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily operations of surgical services with a co-manager.
• Lead a team of 145 FTEs and 40 ORs.
• Allocate resources to ensure efficient, safe, high-quality nursing care.
• Incorporate evidence-based practice and research into processes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory and professional standards.
