Job description

Hospital is seeking primary call coverage starting June 2025, with ongoing dates beginning October 2025.

• 24-hour call: $4,400
• Gratis hours: 8 hrs
• Callback rate: $400/hr

Average total callback hours: 7 hours

Schedule/Availability Requirements:

• June 7 (7a) - June 10 (7a)
• Ongoing dates TBD, starting October 2025.

Submission Requirements:

• Board Certified Neurological Surgery - Required
• Active CO License - Required or IMLC (LOQ in hand at submission)
• Active ACLS, BLS - Required for credentialing
• Active DEA - Required for credentialing (transferred DEA considered, but must be maintained throughout the assignment)
• Candidate must acknowledge understanding of EMR training requirements and complete them before start date - Required
• Must disclose # of shifts per month provider can offer - Required
• Available for the dates specified in the job description - Required
• Clean malpractice/background record - Required. Candidates with a self-inquiry NPDB report will be prioritized to ensure no issues with emergency privileges.

• Required procedures/job duties: Proficiency in general neurosurgery, trauma, spine at a Level I Trauma facility with primary call 24/7/365.

EMR Required Training:

• Complete training modules before virtual EMR training.
• Schedule and attend virtual EMR training prior to first day.
• Complete EMR questionnaire and include details in submission notes:
• # of years of Epic experience
• Last usage date (MM/YYYY)
• Facility name where Epic was last used
• Attach a recent photo suitable for badge creation
• Provider's time zone for scheduling
• Best phone number for call shifts
• Best email for onsite programs and preapplication

Credentialing Information:

• Timeframe: 30-120 days
• Credentialing with other facilities: No
