Job summary

OhioHealth is seeking a Surgical Inventory Coordinator to manage the daily flow of supplies, implants, and equipment for the Surgery Department within a fast-paced healthcare environment.

You will use ERP systems for replenishment, monitor inventory levels, and address backorders, substitutions, recalls, or outages to ensure uninterrupted patient care. The role requires solid math, computer skills, and clear communication.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• 2–3 years of healthcare experience.
• Must be able to perform basic math functions and use computers.
• Must understand the financial impacts as it relates to supply chain functions.
• Must be able to work in a moderately paced, ever changing environment.
• Must communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing.
• Familiarity with Workday, Microsoft TEAMS, EPIC.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the daily flow of supplies, implants and equipment for the Surgery Department.
• Utilize forecasting tools/ERP system for order replenishment and inventory management.
• Resolve supply chain issues such as backorders, substitutions, recalls or outages while communicating with the team.
• Assist with inventory accuracy and product integrity in the surgical area.
