Job summary

Ohio State University is seeking a Graduate Medical Education Specialist in Surgery to partner with Fellowship Directors and the Program Manager. The role oversees regulatory compliance, reports for accreditation, and coordinates education evaluation systems to ensure graduation criteria are met.

Responsibilities include recruitment coordination, onboarding, travel, purchasing, and event planning while managing education office resources to support day-to-day operations.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 2 years of relevant experience required.
• 2-4 years of relevant experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee regulatory compliance development and reporting to maintain accreditations.
• Follow the program activity schedule to meet deadlines; prepare reports for site visits.
• Manage ACGME protocols and oversee the education evaluation system.
• Monitor progression to ensure graduation criteria are met.
• Assist in recruitment, orientation and credentialing; act as a representative of the program.
• Assist with travel, purchasing and event planning.
• Manage the education office resources to support program needs and day-to-day activities.
