Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED and BLS certification are required.
• Strong analytical, observational and problem-solving abilities.
• Ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and staff.

Responsibilities

• Performs direct and indirect patient care in the Perioperative setting.
• Performs terminal cleaning of the operating room and prepares rooms for new patients.
• Cleans and remakes patient stretchers and beds; restocks and cleans assigned areas.
• Transports specimens, labs, blood to and from OR; moves patients as directed by a nurse.
