Job summary

Piedmont HealthCare is seeking a Surgical Technologist at Piedmont Macon North. The role involves scrub duties and assisting with patient care under the direction of a registered nurse, serving diverse age groups in a busy surgical setting.

The ideal candidate has a surgical technology program background, HS diploma or GED, and current BCLS certification; CST is preferred. This position is based in Macon, GA, and requires on-site presence.

Qualifications

• H.S. Diploma or GED required.
• Graduate of Surgical Technology program required.
• Certification as Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support on Hire required.
• CST - Certified Surgical Technologist preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs necessary duties in scrub role.
• Provides patient care with higher level critical thinking and problem solving.
• Functions in partnership with licensed staff.
• Delivers patient care to clients of various ages under RN supervision.
