Piedmont Macon Medical is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the vascular lab in a hybrid OR setting and collaborate with the Main OR. A call shift is required, and this role functions under the supervision of a registered nurse to deliver patient-focused care.

Minimum qualifications include a Surgical Technology program graduate or qualifying experience, plus BLS certification. Sign-on bonus available and competitive benefits provided.

Responsibilities:

Vascular lab- Hybrid OR position that will also work in conjunction with Main OR. Call will be necessary. Will report to surgical services

RESPONSIBLE FOR:
Performs necessary duties in scrub role. Takes on greater responsibility in providing patient care demonstrating a higher level critical thinking and problem solving skills. Functions in partnership with licensed staff. Performs patient care duties for clients of various age groups under the direction of a registered nurse.

Qualifications:

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED:
High School graduate or GED.
Graduate of a Surgical Technology program.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist or 3 years of surgical tech experience required.

MINIMUM LICENSURE/CERTIFICATION REQUIRED BY LAW:
N/A

ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Certification as a Surgical Technologist preferred
BLS certification required.
