Job summary

Piedmont Atlanta Hospital is seeking a Surgical Technologist to support the scrub role and assist with direct patient care under the supervision of a registered nurse. You will collaborate with licensed staff to ensure safe, efficient procedures across all age groups.

Required education includes a high school diploma or GED and graduation from a Surgical Technology program, BCLS at hire, and either current CST certification or three years of surgical tech experience; CST preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required and graduation from Surgical Technology program.
• Certification as a Surgical Technologist required or 3 years of surgical tech experience.
• BCLS - Basic Life Support required upon hire; CST preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist in scrub role and support patient care under the direction of a registered nurse.
• Collaborate with licensed staff to ensure safe and effective procedures for patients of various ages.
