RTX in Clayville, NY is hiring for an onsite Manufacturing Technician at Pratt & Whitney. You will process super alloy in an environmentally controlled area and operate various machines and PIVs on a 4x10 shift.

HS diploma required; benefits include medical, dental, vision, life and disability, 401(k) match, PTO, and discounts. This role is onsite with safety protocols and potential for additional duties as needed.

• Basic hoist and rigging operations.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
• Operate main room machines to work instruction standards (eg. Scalper, classifier, sweco, rotex).
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble machines and containers to QC standards.
• Support the cell’s continuous improvement and CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required PPE.
• Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader.
• May be assigned to tasks not specifically listed within the scope to develop skills.
• The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 2:00pm - 12:00am (7th shift).

What You Will Do:

• Process super alloy within the confines of an environmentally controlled, isolated area to the specifications of written work instructions overseen by S3 or above.
• Basic hoist and rigging operations
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs)
• Operate machines in the main room to work instruction standards (eg. Scalper, classifier, sweco, rotex)
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble main room machines and containers to QC standard (eg. Scalper, classifier, sweco, rotex, tote bins, storage bins, revert bins, clayville cans)
• Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment
• Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader.
• May be assigned to tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
• The position will work a schedule of Monday - Thursday (4x10) 2:00pm - 12:00am (7th shift).

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers, as they are essential to the development of our engines.

The salary range for this role is $21.00 per hour. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
