Job summary

RTX in the United States is seeking a dedicated production worker for a 4th shift (Friday–Sunday, 7:00 AM–7:00 PM) at the Clayville facility. The role involves handling super alloy materials in a controlled environment, operating machines, and performing routine maintenance tasks to support aerospace manufacturing operations.

Candidates must have a HS diploma or GED, strong attendance, good interpersonal communication, and the ability to wear a respirator.

Responsibilities

• Process super alloy within an environmentally controlled area according to written work instructions.
• Perform basic hoist and rigging operations.
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs).
• Operate main room machines to work instruction standards (e.g., Scalper, classifier, sweco, rotex).
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble machines and containers to QC standards.
• Support continuous improvement and CORE/EH&S initiatives; wear PPE.
• Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader.
• May be assigned additional tasks to support department objectives and skill development.

What You Will Do

• Process super alloy within the confines of an environmentally controlled, isolated area to the specifications of written work instructions overseen by S3 or above.
• Basic hoist and rigging operations
• Operate powered industrial vehicles (PIVs)
• Operate machines in the main room to work instruction standards (eg. Scalper, classifier, sweco, rotex)
• Disassemble, clean and reassemble main room machines and containers to QC standard (eg. Scalper, classifier, sweco, rotex, tote bins, storage bins, revert bins, clayville cans)
• Support the cell’s continuous improvement and all CORE and EH&S initiatives, including wearing required personal protective equipment
• Refer difficulties to Supervisor or Team Leader.
• May be assigned to tasks not specifically listed within the scope and skill level of this job description in support of department objectives and to develop individual skills.
• Must be able to work overtime when required
• This position is for 4th Shift Friday - Sunday 7:00am-7:00pm.

Qualifications

You Must Have:

• HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D in the US)
• Must have a strong attendance record
• Must have excellent interpersonal communication skills
• Must be able to work hours outside of the regular shift
• Must have good mechanical aptitude
• Must be able to wear a respirator

The position requires ascending, descending stairs, standing for extended periods, bending, squatting, twisting, overhead reach, and lifting up to 25 pounds.

The salary range for this role is $21.00/hr. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
