Precision Castparts in Milwaukie, Oregon is seeking an experienced Blasting Operator to prepare casting surfaces using air-propelled sand or shot in walk-in booths. You will load castings, mask points, and manually blast parts to remove shell, scale and marks while ensuring uniform finish.

Responsibilities include inspecting finished parts, removing castings, and maintaining equipment. This role requires attention to safety and proper PPE usage in an industrial setting.

Responsabilidades

• Load castings into walk-in cabinet manually or with hoist.
• Mask tooling points as needed during blasting.
• Operate sand or shot blasts with handheld nozzles, ensuring even coverage.
• Inspect blasted parts for material removal and uniform color.
• Remove castings from cabinet and place on pallets.
• Maintain equipment and adjust shotblast pipe as needed.
