United Precision Corporation is seeking a skilled Sandblaster/Painter to prepare metal parts for coatings and finishes. You will remove rust and contaminants, inspect surface profiles, and apply protective coatings to meet quality standards.

The role requires SSPC/AMPP C7 and/or C12 certifications and at least two years of blasting and coating experience. The position is onsite in a manufacturing environment with safety, ITAR compliance, and environmental procedures.

Qualifications

• SSPC/AMPP C7 and/or C12 Certification is required.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience performing abrasive blasting on metal components.
• Minimum 2 years’ experience applying industrial or protective coatings by brush, roller, and/or spray.
• Knowledge of surface cleanliness, profile, and coating-defect identification.
• Familiarity with safety procedures for sandblasting and coating.
• ITAR compliance knowledge is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Perform abrasive blasting on fabricated metal components per project specs and SSPC/NACE standards.
• Remove rust, mill scale, and contaminants; prepare surfaces for coatings.
• Operate and maintain blasting equipment and related tools.
• Inspect blasted surfaces for cleanliness and profile accuracy.
• Mask areas to protect critical features from overspray or over-blasting.
• Apply coatings using spray, brush, or roller per product data sheets.
