Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. seeks an experienced technician to troubleshoot, repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in a shop setting.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain issues, using schematics and diagnostic tools to identify root causes and communicate findings clearly to clients and management. You will also maintain relationships, prepare service reports, manage repair costs, and travel to remote sites as needed while upholding safety and company

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current driver’s license required.
• Minimum of 6 months related experience.
• Must communicate in English.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions and failures.
• Repair, recondition, and maintain equipment and components.
• Prepare service reports.
• Plan and control cost of repair jobs.
• Own and maintain required personal tools.
• Learn and use Empire, Caterpillar and allied product procedures and systems.
