Job summary

Cashman Equipment Co. is seeking a skilled technician to troubleshoot, repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in a shop setting.

You will diagnose electrical, hydraulic, and powertrain systems using electronic tools and schematics, and clearly communicate equipment status and recommendations to clients and management. Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and 6 months of related experience.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; valid driver’s license
• 6+ months related technician experience preferred; English proficiency required
• Must be able to read schematics and diagnose equipment faults using electronic tools and diagnostics

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, repair, recondition, and service Caterpillar and allied machines in a shop environment
• Explain equipment conditions and recommendations clearly to clients and management
• Prepare service reports and manage cost of repairs
