The Alabama Army National Guard is seeking a Surface Maintenance Repairer (T32) in Cullman, AL. This role focuses on preventive maintenance, repair, and replacement of parts on a range of combat and automotive vehicles.

You will interpret manuals, use test equipment, and work with hand tools to restore equipment readiness. Applicants must meet military requirements and rank guidance, demonstrate basic mechanical and electrical understanding, and be capable of working with interrelated vehicle

Qualifications

• Experience with basic mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic theory applying to vehicles.
• Experience using common hand and power tools and test equipment for repairs.
• Ability to read and interpret parts lists, repair manuals, diagrams, and schematics.
• Knowledge of how various systems interrelate in combat, tactical, and automotive equipment.
• Skill to replace, install, and adjust components and parts.
