Job summary

Qualifications

• Troubleshoots and maintains heavy-duty mobile equipment and vehicles.
• Experience with engines, transmissions, hydraulics and electrical systems.
• Ability to diagnose mechanical failures using test equipment.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots, maintains and repairs heavy-duty vehicles and equipment.
• Disassembles and rebuilds engines and major assemblies as required.
• Performs preventive maintenance and readiness inspections on vehicles and equipment.
• Provides technical guidance to lower-grade mechanics and assists in field maintenance.
