Army National Guard Units in Foley, AL seeks a Surface Maintenance Repairer (T32) to diagnose, repair and maintain heavy-duty military vehicles and equipment in various locations. You will perform routine repairs, PMCS, and field maintenance under supervision as needed.

The role requires ability to work with basic test tools and replacement parts. The position involves limited field work at unit locations and may include travel to remote sites to complete scheduled and unscheduled maintenance

• Performs limited diagnosis, routine repairs and maintenance on heavy-duty mobile equipment, combat, tactical and automotive vehicles.
• Performs limited diagnoses to determine the cause of mechanical failures using basic test equipment.
• Removes, replaces, adjusts, cleans and installs parts and components (e.g., brakes, pumps, sensors, radiators).
• Independently performs routine repairs and maintenance in remote locations; may provide field maintenance at unit locations.
• Conducts readiness and repair inspections; performs PMCS and ensures proper servicing of vehicles and equipment.
• Maintains basic communications gear; performs minor body and metal repairs using tools.
• Maintains supply documentation for tools and parts; handles receipt, storage, and inventory.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
