Qualifications

• Experience maintaining heavy-duty military and automotive vehicles.
• Ability to troubleshoot complex mechanical systems and perform major repairs.
• Familiarity with using engine analyzers, compression testers and related diagnostic tools.

Responsibilities

• Troubleshoots and maintains heavy-duty mobile equipment and vehicles.
• Repairs and overhauls engines, transmissions, drive lines and hydraulic systems.
• Disassembles and reassembles engines and major components to repair specifications.
• Provides guidance to lower-grade mechanics and may lead a team in remote locations.
• Performs readiness and repair inspections on vehicles and equipment.
