Job summary

Fives Landis Corp in Concord Township, Ohio, is seeking a Surface Grinder Operator on 1st shift (Mon–Fri, 7:00 AM–3:30 PM). Starting pay is $20+ per hour, with overtime available, based on experience.

You will set up and operate surface grinding machines, read blueprints, and inspect parts to ensure tight tolerances on steel, carbide, and specialty materials.

Qualifications

• Minimum high school diploma required.
• At least 1 year of manufacturing or machinist experience preferred.
• Ability to read blueprints and schematics.
• Strong shop math skills to calculate dimensions and tolerances.
• Familiarity with Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).

Responsibilities

• Set up and operate surface grinding machines to shape and finish metal parts.
• Adjust machine settings and grinding wheels to achieve correct size and finish.
• Read blueprints, drawings and work instructions to ensure quality.
• Measure and inspect finished parts with precision tools.
• Follow quality, safety, and production standards.
• Work with steel, carbide, and specialty materials.

FLC-CITCO Tools is actively seeking a Surface Grinder Operator to join its team in Concord Twp., Ohio.

1st Shift | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–3:30 PM

Starting Pay: $20+ per hour (rate offered is based on experience)Overtime Available

• Read blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to make quality parts.
• Measure and inspect finished parts using precision measuring tools to ensure accuracy.
• Follow all quality control, work place safety, and production standards.
• Work with steel, carbide, and specialty materials to produce finished components.

We are seeking someone with a minimum of:

• High School Diploma
• 1 year of manufacturing experience, previous machinist or tooling experience preferred
• Strong shop math capabilities to calculate dimensions & tolerance.
• Familiarity with reading Geometric Dimensioning and tolerancing.
• Ability to read schematics, blueprints, and other documents.
