Zusammenfassung

Sandvik AB is seeking a Field Service Technician – Surface Drills to support East Tennessee and the Kershaw, SC area, working across Sandvik's surface and underground mining equipment. You will diagnose, repair, and commission equipment at customer sites, maintaining OEM standards and safety protocols.

Minimum three years of hands-on field experience with mobile equipment, plus MSHA training and a valid driver's license, are required.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED required; diesel/heavy equipment or electrical certification preferred.
• Minimum three years of hands-on maintenance and repair of mobile mining/construction equipment.
• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record; MSHA Part 46/48 training or ability to obtain.
• Basic computer skills for electronic work orders and time entry.
• Willingness to travel regularly within East Tennessee and surrounding region.

Aufgaben

• Perform preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, repair, and commissioning of Sandvik equipment at customer sites.
• Diagnose faults using schematics and diagnostic tools; document in field reports.
• Support parts requests and service administration; maintain safety standards.
• Build customer relationships and mentor junior technicians.
