Philadelphia Insurance Companies seeks a Surety Underwriter II for our Seattle, WA or West Linn, OR offices. Under moderate supervision, you will underwrite and market products with intermediate risk assessment and underwriting expertise.

You will participate in marketing activities, gather information for risk evaluation, and prepare proposals while maintaining underwriting files. Minimum authority is $750,000 (Surety).

Formación

• Bachelor's Degree; three years contract surety underwriting experience (carrier preferred).
• AFSB designation preferred.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities, generate new business and be detail oriented.

Responsabilidades

• Underwrites and markets assigned products with intermediate risk assessment and technical underwriting expertise.
• Assists with marketing activities within the region to promote new business development.
• Gathers and analyzes information to evaluate risk suitability and credit quality.
• Prepares underwriting submissions and makes recommendations within authority; minimum authority is $750,000 (Surety).
