Philadelphia Insurance Companies, a Tokio Marine Group member, seeks a Surety Underwriter II to join our team in Lone Tree, CO or other offices in Seattle, WA or Portland, OR. You will assess risk, prepare proposals, and contribute to marketing efforts to develop new business.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and at least three years of contract surety underwriting experience, with AFSB designation preferred.

Qualifikationen

• At least three years of contract surety underwriting experience, preferably with a carrier.
• AFSB designation preferred.

Aufgaben

• Underwrites and markets assigned products by providing intermediate levels of risk assessment and technical underwriting expertise.
• Assists with preparation and participates in marketing activities within the region to promote new business.
• Gathers and analyzes information, applies underwriting techniques to evaluate risk.
• May evaluate credit quality.
• Prepares and participates in proposals to producers and/or accounts negotiating terms and conditions.
• Maintains underwriting files and credit quality of accounts managed.
• Participates in producer management, including premium collections.
