The candidate will handle high-volume claims communications with precise prioritization, maintain claims files, and support the Surety Claims team with timely, accurate processing.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of relevant customer service experience in professional settings.
• Prefer experience in import/logistics or related fields such as contracts, finance, or billing support.
• Direct insurance support experience in logistics is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prepare clients for claims before final deadlines to enable timely submissions.
• Email Liquidated Damages claims prior to demand on surety.
• Collect and record proof of payment and other claim documents.
• Document and upload documents to claim files as they are received.
• Elevate and forward files to Claim Specialists (adjusters).
• Coordinate collateral verification checks using templates.
• Email Intent to Terminate notifications on delinquent bonds.
• Search for current importer address/contact information online.
• Facilitate payments involving brokers, importers, and Customs.
• Assist with data gathering and generating claim tracking reports.
• Assist with mail, claim intake, and forwarding payments to parties as needed.
