Avalon Risk Management is seeking a customer support representative for our Bond Claims department in Schaumburg, IL. This full-time, non-exempt role offers an introductory training period and a hybrid in-office/remote work environment.

Ideal candidates have 3–5 years of professional customer service experience, preferably within import/logistics or related fields, with strong written and verbal communication and excellent organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-volume, professional customer support for bond claims.
• Prepare clients for claims before deadlines and send courtesy reports.
• Email claims and collect proof of payment and documents.
• Document and upload files and escalate to claim specialists when needed.
• Coordinate verification checks and handle delinquent bond notices.
• Assist with data gathering, system updates, and claim-tracking reports.
• Support mail handling and payments routing as required.
