Job summary

USI Insurance Services is seeking an entry-level associate to assist Surety Sales Executives and Account Managers in servicing commercial lines surety clients from our Charlotte office. You will handle endorsements, bond requests, renewals, and related document processing while maintaining client files and ensuring accuracy in systems.

Qualifications

• Entry level-position; general office/clerical experience preferred.
• College degree preferred.
• Must hold or obtain Property & Casualty insurance license within agreed timeframe.
• Must have notary license or willing to obtain within an agreed timeframe (varies by office).
• Detail oriented with strong customer service skills.
• Comfortable with internet-based programs and Microsoft Office products.
• Resourceful; eager to learn new concepts and develop professionally.
• Set priorities and manage workflow for accurate processing of transactions and responsibilities.
• Ability to work in a team environment.
• Open to feedback and coaching.

Responsibilities

• Provide internal assistance to Surety Account Manager.
• Process endorsements, including ordering from carriers, verifying accuracy, and deliver to client.
• Prepare new bond requests and process renewal requests.
• Assist with Bid/Final bonds requests in management system, as directed.
• Process policy audits, cancellations, and reinstatements.
• Create/update Excel or other documents as requested.
• Assist in invoicing documents and resolve accounting issues.
• Keep clients informed of request status as directed.
• Maintain client files accurately in agency management systems.
