Job summary

USI Insurance Services seeks a Commercial Lines Surety Account Manager to manage renewals, bond submissions, underwriting questions, and cross-sell services with Sales and Account Executives.

This remote-capable role requires 2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Surety experience, a college degree preferred, and willingness to obtain a P&C license and notary license within one year. Occasional travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• 2+ years of Commercial Property & Casualty Surety experience.
• College degree preferred.
• Comprehensive understanding of Surety coverages, underwriting, and rating concepts.
• Knowledge of bonds, bond market selection, and bond issuance.
• Must hold or be willing to obtain Property & Casualty insurance license.
• Must have notary license or willing to obtain within one year of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide proactive, personalized support to assigned Commercial Lines Surety clients and maintain high retention.
• Handle all aspects of Commercial Lines P&C insurance as related to Surety.
• Facilitate client signing of indemnity agreements, underwriting, and bond submissions.
• Seek carrier approvals for bonds outside lines of authority and issue bonds/riders/endorsements.
• Provide insurance technical expertise to Sales and Account Executives during the sales process.
• Contribute ideas during client strategy meetings and assist renewals to avoid lapses.
