Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, Florida, is hiring for a full-time Inventory and Supply Chain role. The position focuses on collaborating across departments to optimize stock levels, train staff, and manage procurement while ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Ideal candidates bring 1+ years of management experience and 3+ years in materials management or supply chain, with proficiency in Excel/Outlook and familiarity with perioperative storage rules. Orlando-based role with day shifts.

Job Description

Collaborates with other departments to support overall business objectives and customer satisfaction. Other duties as assigned. Utilizes technology and software systems to streamline inventory and supply chain processes. Trains and supervises staff involved in inventory and supply chain operations. Prepares and presents reports on inventory and supply chain performance to senior management. Implements and enforces safety and regulatory compliance standards within the supply chain. Develops and implements inventory management strategies to optimize stock levels and reduce costs. Oversees the procurement process, including vendor selection, negotiation, and contract management. Manages warehouse operations, ensuring efficient storage, handling, and distribution of goods. Coordinates with production and sales teams to forecast demand and plan inventory accordingly. Monitors inventory levels and conducts regular audits to ensure accuracy and compliance. Analyzes supply chain data to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions. Develops and maintains relationships with suppliers, ensuring timely delivery and quality of goods.

  • Ability to demonstrate related acumen [Required]
  • Materials Management Host System(s) [Preferred]
  • Point-of-Use application(s) [Preferred]
  • Materials or supply chain management processes [Preferred]
Education
  • Associate [Required]
  • Bachelor's [Preferred]
Field Of Study
  • in Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Supply Chain Management, Accounting, Management Information Systems, Healthcare Administration or related field

Work Experience
  • 1+ previous management experience [Required]
  • 3+ materials management or supply chain experience [Required]
  • Experienced in Lean Process Improvement methodologies and application to supply chain management [Preferred]
