Summary:
The Supervisor of Innovative Programs is responsible for the administrative oversight and daily operations of Hillsborough Virtual School, K-12 Full- time and co-enrolled, the implementation of the Credit Recovery Program, curriculum and training at all secondary school sites including career centers, and provides assistance to the Director of Virtual Instruction Programs.

Education: A master’s degree. Degree or formal training in Educational Leadership preferred.
Experience: Three years of increasingly responsible experience in classroom teaching, with three years of related management or supervisory experience preferred. Online or virtual experience preferred.
Certificates/Licenses/Registrations: Florida Professional Educator Certificate: Educational Leadership, School Principal, or Administration and Supervision. An appointee who possesses subject area certification but does not possess the appropriate administrative certification, will be given 4 years from the date of appointment to obtain the appropriate certification.
Language Skills: Reads and interprets general business and professional journals, technical procedures, or regulations. Writes reports, correspondence, and manuals. Effectively presents and responds to questions from managers and the public.
Mathematical Skills: Works with math concepts such as probability and statistical inference, and fundamentals of geometry and trigonometry. Applies concepts such as fractions, percentages, ratios, and proportions to practical situations.
Reasoning Ability: Solves practical problems and deals with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists. Interprets a variety of instructions furnished in written, oral, diagram, or schedule form.
Computer Skills: Microsoft Office
Physical Activities: Standing, walking, sitting, handling, keyboarding, talking, and hearing.
Lifting Demands: Up to 10 pounds.
Reaching Activities: Both dominant and non-dominant hand; overhead.
Environmental Conditions: Noise intensity 3 moderate.
This position requires traveling to various school sites, work locations and/or community organizations throughout the district.
