Job summary

Caesars Entertainment is seeking a Hotel Supervisor to lead our team and foster teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. You will coach and develop employees, set expectations, and ensure the flow of information throughout the property.

The role emphasizes delivering premier service, assisting guests with information, daily operational analysis, staff training, safety, and adherence to hotel policies. You will assign work and respond professionally to guest needs.

Qualifications

  • Two years of supervisory hospitality experience.
  • Excellent customer service and public relations skills.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory abilities.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift with fluctuating days off.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures a maximum level of service and guest satisfaction throughout the hotel.
  • Maintains knowledge of hotel, events, and local information to assist guests.
  • Analyzes service and operations daily, providing feedback to departments.
  • Ensures staff training with emphasis on delivering premier service.
  • Ensures staff behavior and appearance comply with policies.
  • Maintains a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests and employees.

Job Summary

Serves as a leader for employees while fostering teamwork, employee morale, motivation and open communication. Provides direction and support for all staff members to achieve departmental goals and objectives. Facilitates the flow of information throughout the property.

How You Will Create the Extraordinary
  • Ensures a maximum level of service and satisfaction, throughout the Hotel, is achieved and maintained.
  • Maintains knowledge of hotel, community and special events to accurately provide guests with needed information.
  • Analyzes service and general operations of all departments in the Hotel on a daily basis, giving feedback and offering direction, as needed.
  • Ensures all employees are well trained with an emphasis on detail to provide service levels consistent with the “premier” concept.
  • Ensures that all staff behavior and appearance are in compliance with established policies.
  • Helps to maintain and enhance a safe, secure, and comfortable environment for guests and employees.
  • Ensures all team members follow hotel policies and procedures.
  • Expedites and oversees special requests from the Front Desk.
  • Inspects and evaluates the physical condition of public areas.
  • Submits to management recommendations for maintenance-related issues.
  • Responds to guests' questions and concerns in a professional manner.
  • Inventories supplies and equipment and checks on the working condition of equipment.
  • Directs/Assigns the work of employees.
  • Coaches employees on work-related issues, to include disciplinary action
  • Write performance evaluations for each employee
  • Other responsibilities as assigned or required
What You Will Need
  • High School degree or equivalent (GED) required
  • Two years’ experience in the hospitality industry, in a supervisory capacity.
  • Excellent customer service and public relations skills required.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and supervisory skills required.
  • Ability to work a rotating shift with fluctuating days off is required.
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, in English
